Privacy Statement
What we hold, how long we hold it, and how you get rid of it.
What we collect
Your name and email address, which are required. Your role and organization, which are optional and gate nothing. Your answers to the exercises you complete, and the reports built from them.
When you invite someone, we collect their contact information, the invitation date, and their answers, stored confidentially.
What we do with it
We use your email address to sign you in and to send you your report. We use your answers to build that report. Your scores also join an anonymous pool that later readers are compared against, holding nothing that points back to you. No other reader ever sees your responses.
We do not sell your data. No employer has access to this site's data, and nobody is sent your report but you.
There is one exception, and it happens only when you ask for it. If you request a consult, the coach you choose reads the written report from that exercise. They do not see your individual answers, your scores or your email address. Their access ends when the consult is finished, canceled or declined, and no later than 30 days after you ask.
How long we keep it
There is no expiry date on your account, your answers or your reports. They stay here, so they are waiting whenever you come back. Three things do age out on their own, and they are in the table below.

Removing it
You can remove yourself at any time from your account. That is immediate. It takes your name and your email address off everything, and it closes the login, so nobody can sign in as you again. Backups age out within 35 days.
You can also write to privacy@relational-insights.com and we will do it within 30 days.
Your scores and the options you picked stay, and they stop pointing at you. They keep their place in the anonymous comparison pool that later readers are measured against, holding no name, no email address and no route back. Everything you typed in your own words is deleted: the boxes, the names you gave your situations, and your notes on what you did afterward. Your consent record, the record of the Terms of Use you agreed to when you bought something, and, if you are a coach, the record of the coach addendum you agreed to, stay for no more than 4 years, holding the wording you agreed to and the date, and none of your answers.
Using your answers to help you
The exercises are there to be used, not filed. As you complete them, what you have told us builds a picture of how you see yourself across the three directions the book works in.
A later exercise brings those results back to you. The Relational Insights Tool sets your own earlier answers beside one situation you are working through, so you can read them together. It arranges what you wrote and adds nothing to it.
When you ask for a written report, our own AI reads that picture so it can help you think through a specific relationship or situation you are dealing with. It works from your answers and stays inside them, and nothing you write in it changes your scores or your exercise reports. It reads another reader's answers in one case only, and it takes both of you: when you and another reader have each agreed to work on a situation together, it reads both accounts to write each of you an analysis.
It reads your answers only when you ask it to. If you never ask, it never does. We don't use your answers, what you wrote, or anything it writes to train or improve any AI model. That includes copies with your name removed.
Our AI runs on computers AspireVue owns and controls. It may also run on a computer we own together with a technology partner who helps us operate it. That partner works for us under a written agreement: it may handle your answers only to run our AI for you, only in the United States, and never to train or improve any AI model. No outside AI company is involved.
Ask ARIA, the help panel at the bottom right of each page, can answer a typed question. Everything you type is read by our own AI, on computers we own and control, and goes to no outside AI service. A question about how to use this site is matched to one of our help answers and is not stored. A question about your own results is answered from your results, only for that question. That question and its answer are kept on your account so you can read them again, and they go when you remove yourself. A team's coach or leader can also ask about the team. That question is answered only from what their team page already shows them, and never from your situations or anything you typed to Ask ARIA.
The colleagues you invite
If you buy a Multi-Rater Resource and invite people to rate you, we store their name and contact information. They did not give us either. You did, so it is worth being exact about what happens next.
We do not contact them. No message from us reaches the people you invite. We do not send the invitation, which is why you copy the link and send it yourself, and we do not send them anything else afterward. They are on no list. If one of them writes to us we will answer them, and that is the only circumstance in which we are in touch.
We hold their address so we know a link exists for them, so the same person is not asked twice, and so you can see who you have asked. If they answer, we keep their responses and their responses stay. You are never shown what any individual said, and nothing they wrote is shown to anyone else either.
When you remove yourself, their address goes with everything else of yours. The record that an invitation existed and was used survives, holding no address, because it connects a purchase to answers people gave in good faith.
Anyone who was invited can write to privacy@relational-insights.com and ask us to remove their name and contact information. They do not need an account to ask, and they never needed one to answer.
If somebody invited you to rate them
You're being invited because someone trusted you to give them candid and honest input. You are not on a list.
Your ratings reach that person pooled with other people's responses and the results are not shown until at least 3 people have responded.
The ratee never knows how you scored them as your scores join an anonymous pool of numbers that will never point back to you.
You can contact privacy@relational-insights.com and ask us to remove your name and contact information from the invitation. Tell us who invited you so we can find the right invite and we will do it within 30 days. Your answers stay. Once your name and address are gone, nothing here connects them to you.
How it is held
Encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to your rows is restricted at the database to you, and reads are logged.
Email you can turn off, and email you cannot
Email about programs related to the book is optional. You asked for it or you did not, and you can stop it at any time from the link in any of those messages.
Your sign-in link and your report are not marketing. They go to you because you asked for them.

None of them is a validated or normed psychometric test, and no result belongs in a decision about anyone's employment. Read what these are.

Results are for personal and professional development only. They must not be used for employment decisions, including hiring, promotion, compensation, placement, or performance evaluation.
Your responses and reports remain private. Employers do not have access to your data without informed consent, and you decide whether to share your results.
