Terms of Use
The agreement between you and AspireVue, and what changes when you buy a Multi-Rater Resource.
Last updated 27 October 2026.
Who this agreement is with
This site is published by AspireVue Corporation, a Delaware corporation operating from South Carolina. Below, “we” and “us” mean AspireVue, and “you” means the person using the site.
Using this site means you accept these terms. When you buy a Multi-Rater Resource you also check a box confirming it, and we record which version of this page you saw.
Two other documents sit alongside this one and form part of the same agreement. The Privacy Statement covers what we hold and how you get rid of it. What these exercises are covers what the instruments claim and where their results do not belong. Read both. Where this page and one of those disagree about your data or about what an exercise measures, the other page governs, because it is the one that was written for the question.
Who may use this site
You need to be 18 or older.
Your account
There is no password. We email you a link and the link signs you in, so your email account is the key to your reports. Keep it secure, and tell us if you think someone else has reached it. You are responsible for what is done under your account.
What is free, and what you can buy
The exercises in the book, and the Personality Traits self-reflection, are free to take, and so is your own report on each one. The other self-reflections and Multi-Rater Resources are paid, and checkout shows you the price before you pay. Nothing here is a trial, and there is nothing to cancel.
Additional Self-reflections and Multi-Rater Resources are available to elevate your insight and impact. When you buy a Multi-Rater Resource you invite colleagues to answer about you, and your report gains a second column showing how their reading compares with your own.
Before you pay, the checkout page shows you the price, which exercises the purchase covers, and how many colleagues you may invite. Those are the terms of your purchase and they are fixed at the moment you buy. If we later change a price or a limit, a rater panel you have already paid for keeps the terms you paid for.
Your Multi-Rater Resource runs for twelve months from the day you buy it. Inside those twelve months you can invite up to your limit, and you can run a second round later to see what has changed.
The limit counts people, not invitations. Inviting somebody already on your rater panel costs nothing, which is what makes a second round possible. A new colleague spends a slot, and it stays spent whether or not that person ever answers. Choose who you ask with that in mind.
Three colleagues have to finish before your rater panel report opens. Under three, we show you nothing they said. This is not a technical limit we could lift for you. With so few people, showing one or two answers tells you who gave them, and the people you invited answered on the understanding that it would not.
For the same reason we tell you how many people have finished and never which ones.
An invitation link expires thirty days after you create it, and we show it to you once. We store a fingerprint of the link rather than the link itself, so we genuinely cannot show it to you again later. Send it when you make it.
What a purchase does not include. We do not email your colleagues for you. The invitation comes from you, to people who know you, which is the version that gets answered. A purchase also buys no coach, no debrief and no promise about how many people reply.
If you are answering about somebody else
You do not need an account here, and we are not going to make you create one. You open the link you were sent, you answer, and you are done. We hold no password for you and we do not add you to anything.
Answer only about a person who invited you, and answer from what you have actually seen them do. Your individual answers are never shown to the person you rated. They reach them combined with other people's, and only once three people have finished.
Refunds
Ask within fourteen days of buying and we will refund you in full, as long as no colleague has completed their answers yet. Once somebody has answered, the rater panel has been used and the purchase is final. Write to privacy@relational-insights.com.
A refund closes your Multi-Rater Resource and stops further invitations. It does not delete what your colleagues already gave. They answered in good faith about you, and their answers are not ours to destroy to settle a question about money.
What belongs to us
The exercises, the statements and scales inside them, the interpretation library, the design of the reports, this site, and the text of the book are AspireVue's. You are welcome to use them here. You are not licensed to copy them out.
What belongs to you
Your answers are yours. You give us permission to process them so we can build your reports, run the site, and let our own AI work from them when you ask it to help you think through a situation, and to include your scores, holding nothing that points back to you, in the anonymous comparison pool the Privacy Statement describes. That permission is what makes the comparison work at all. It ends for anything that identifies you on the day you remove yourself.
Our AI may run on a computer we own together with a technology partner who helps us operate it. That partner handles your answers only to run our AI for you, under a written agreement with us, and gains no rights in them.
Your report is yours to keep, to print, and to show to anyone you choose, including a coach or your manager. It carries our interpretation text, so do not republish it as content or sell it on.
What you agree not to do
Do not use a result from this site in a decision about anyone's employment. That covers hiring, promotion, placement, compensation, performance rating, and any list of who is ready for what. These instruments are self-reported and unvalidated, and they are easy to answer the way you wish you were. What these exercises are sets out why at length. On this page it is a term you are agreeing to.
Beyond that, do not post an invitation link somewhere public, and do not answer about somebody who did not invite you. Do not copy the statements, the scales or the interpretation text to build or train a competing instrument. Do not scrape the site, reach for another reader's data, or work around the three person floor. Do not resell access or share your account.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we do not promise that a result is accurate about you. It cannot be. These exercises record what you believe and what your colleagues report, which is a useful thing to see laid out and is a different thing from a measurement.
This is professional development. It is not therapy, not clinical assessment, and not treatment, and nothing here creates a clinical relationship with anyone.
What we are liable for
If we get something wrong and it costs you, what we owe you in total is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. If you have paid us nothing, that limit is nothing, and we would rather say so here than let you find it out later.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. That includes lost profit, a lost opportunity, and any decision somebody made after reading a report.
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Some states do not permit some of these exclusions, and where yours does not, this section applies as far as it can and no further.
What you are liable for
If you break one of the promises in “What you agree not to do” and somebody brings a claim against us because of it, you cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it. This covers your own conduct and nothing else.
Closing an account
You can remove yourself at any time from your account, and the Privacy Statement sets out exactly what that takes off and what stays.
We can suspend or close an account that is breaking these terms. We will tell you why, unless telling you would put somebody else's data at risk.
Changes to these terms
We can change this page. If a change matters to you, we will show you a short note about what changed at your next sign-in rather than a fresh wall of text.
A change never reaches backward into a Multi-Rater Resource you have already bought. The terms of that purchase are the ones you accepted on the day you paid.
The law that applies
South Carolina law governs this agreement, without its conflict of law rules. If a dispute ends up in court it goes to the state or federal courts sitting in South Carolina, and we both agree to that.
There is no arbitration clause on this page and no waiver of your right to bring a class action. We are not asking you to give up your right to go to court.
